The Stomach Acid (HCl) Challenge is a short, guided protocol using Betaine HCl with Pepsin to help assess whether you may have low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria). Over the course of five days, you gradually increase your intake from 1 tablet on day 1 to 5 tablets on day 5, always taken at the beginning of your largest meal.
